– Have attitudes towards sexuality changed for the better or the worse in the music industry?
– I think for the worst. Something sort of strangely conservative took over in the 1990’s (…). Everything turned very conservative and rock orientated again in the 90’s. As the music business was failing in terms of not catching up with the advent of the internet, a concern for the ‘bottom line’ and what is safely marketable took over. Sadly. But there you go.
